Cucamelon

Melothria Scabra.

The fruits are the size of grapes and have a flavor similar to cucumber, with a hint of lime. Their appearance resembles that of a watermelon, hence the name.

The inside of the cucamelon closely resembles that of a cucumber. It is green inside, slightly firm, and contains many small white seeds. It can be sliced or eaten whole thanks to its small size. The skin is fully edible and does not affect the taste of the cucamelon in any way.

Its taste is extremely fresh, similar to that of a cucumber. In its country of origin, Mexico, it is often eaten with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and a vinaigrette.

It also goes very well in drinks or cocktails, thanks to its cucumber flavor mixed with a hint of lime.
