Wild flowers and strawberries: Picvert is drawing closer to Arzagot

22 October 2024

At the latest Fruit Attraction fair in Madrid, Jacques Deramécourt, President of Picvert, announced his acquisition of a stake in Arzagot.

For over fifty years, Arzagot, a small Spanish business based in Vélez-Málaga (Malaga) and led by Olivier Bernard, has specialized in the production and marketing of wild strawberries grown in open soil and open air.

Having been present in the French market since the 1960s with major Parisian houses, its products are now distributed worldwide.

“My goal is to help Arzagot grow from a small business to a medium-sized enterprise, assist in its restructuring, and give it new momentum with the arrival of the new generation,” said Jacques Deramécourt, who was present alongside Pablo Bernard, Sales Director, at a stand by Picvert decorated in new colours.

For the past decade, Arzagot has also developed a wide range of edible flowers. “These are high-quality products that require a lot of attention, just like our young shoots. Beyond these complementary products, we share common values and a shared vision for the future.”
